The IDGAF Routine
Recently, I've been trying to work on myself and improve the quality of my life and the ones around me. I saw this TikTok of someone talking about an "IDGAF routine", which I thought I would write down for myself to remember (and for anyone reading too).
When you wake up every day go get coffee at your local coffee shop, make small talk with the barista—or don't. You dont GAF!
When you go run your errands for the day or walk through your town, smile at everyone. And if they don't smile back, you don't GAF!
When you feel like crap and drag yourself out of bed to go to work, don't let that or your mood bring you down. Give it your all, interact with your coworkers, and talk to someone new in the office you havn't talked to before. You don't GAF!
If you like someone's shirt, compliment their shirt (our world could use a lot more compliments). If you think someone's dog is cute, tell the owner how cute you think their dog is. You dont GAF.
You never know where these small compliments and conversations can take you and making these positive efforts in your day-to-day will only bring good to you. Remember that you belong in the space that you are in, and can care less about what people think and just focus on yourself and making a positive impact.
I think this picture summarizes this all quite well:

With all this, I have made it my goal to give at least one compliment a day and to smile as much as I can. The world needs a lot more positivity and kindess, and I would like to be a part of that! :D
